Hello! I am Dr. Hazel Legaspi, PT, DPT. I am a Pediatric Physical Therapist. I have been working with children and their families since 2010. I am fascinated by the human body and the mind's ability to adapt and change. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from UC Davis and a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Mount Saint Mary's University. I have worked with children in all settings including the home, inpatient, NICU, outpatient pediatrics, spina bifida and high risk follow-up clinics. I am also a proud mom! My son keeps me on my toes and keeps my creative mind sharp for new ways to make treatments fun.
I originally wanted to work with the older adult population and help them get back to doing what they love. But after some time as a student physical therapist and working with children, I quickly fell in love with the collaboration that comes from working with families and their little ones.
Parenthood is beautiful and at times very challenging. I am here to help make the journey of physical wellbeing and mobility easier so that you can enjoy all of the fun that comes with being a parent. I am here to help your child thrive and move at their highest potential. They say it takes a village to raise a child. Find your people so you and your little one can grow and thrive. With the right synergy, anything is possible. Let's go!
